Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and protect against certain attacks.
2. Cookies We Use
Essential cookies (always on)
Required for the platform to function. These cannot be disabled.
- authjs.session-token — keeps you signed in across requests. Set on login, cleared on logout.
- authjs.csrf-token — protects against cross-site request forgery on auth endpoints.
- authjs.callback-url — temporary cookie used during OAuth sign-in to remember where to send you afterward.
Preference storage
Stored in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie), but we list it here for transparency:
- sendalong-lang — remembers your selected interface language.
- cookie-consent — records that you saw and dismissed the cookie notice.
3. Third-Party Cookies
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. If you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies on its own domain during the OAuth flow — that is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours.
4. Managing Cookies
You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will sign you out and prevent you from using SendAlong.
5. Changes to This Policy
If we ever introduce additional cookies (for example, opt-in analytics), we will update this page and request your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
