SendAlong does not process payments
SendAlong currently runs as a free peer-to-peer marketplace. We do not process payments, take commission, hold funds in escrow, or operate a wallet. All payment arrangements are made directly between senders and travelers — typically by bank transfer, mobile money, or cash on handoff — outside the platform.
Because we never receive any money for a deal, we are not in a position to issue a refund. If a transaction does not go as expected, please resolve it directly with the other party in chat. If you and the other user paid through a regulated channel (e.g. PayPal, your bank), use that provider's own dispute process.
Account-related issues we do handle
We do moderate the platform itself. If you believe another user is impersonating someone, harassing other users, posting fraudulent listings, or otherwise violating our Terms of Service, contact us at support@sendalong.app. We review every report and may suspend or remove accounts at our discretion.
If we ever introduce paid features
If SendAlong introduces paid features in the future (such as escrow, in-app payments, or subscription tiers), this policy will be updated and active users will be notified before any commission or fee is charged. Any new dispute or refund process will be published here at that time.
